Now that the fall is here in earnest, its a great time to break out the fall recipes. One of my favorites is a stuffed squash. You can stuff them with just about anything you like, but my go-to is wild rice with raisins and walnuts. Now I am a little lazy, so I buy my wild rice precooked in a can that I just need warm up and mix in a few spices and a handful of raisins and walnuts. To bump up the sweetness, a little maple syrup or brown sugar glaze makes for a wonderful sweet and savory dish.
